Some great reasons for starting a recession proof business

We all know the economy is deteriorating and deteriorating fast. Use this link to help you fully understand just how bad it has gotten since Jan 07

http://cohort11.americanobserver.net/latoyaegwuekwe/multimediafinal.html

It may sound crazy, but the time to start a recession proof home based business has never been better. More and more people are turning to the internet for answers and ideas for starting a recession proof business, they are not allowing other people to control their financial future.

Some great reasons for starting a home based recession proof business.

* You control your financial future, not someone else
* Leverage your income
* The global economy is changing…the middle class is disappearing
* Retirement security

Let’s look at a few strategies that will help you build a solid foundation and reap the benefits of owning a recession proof business for years to come. Your first step is selecting a company and a product or products to market. Do your research here and take your time. Look for companies that offer a pay structure that will allow you to leverage your time and money I.E. residual income. MLM and direct marketing fit this recession proof business model nicely.

Incorporate income and demand with your product research. People will continue to make purchases online, just buying different products. Look for financial improvement products, self help or personal development. These are products that will help your customers better themselves and are in demand. Use the funnel approach, you should have an introductory product to offer, then you will want to be able to offer them an upgrade product.

You must learn the skill set of selling, not too worry its not that hard. You need to be able to generate cash flow in order to recession proof your business. Now, I am not talking about chasing friends, handing out DVD’s or knocking on doors. To properly leverage your time and money you need to be able to sell to the masses, via the internet and email. This skill set is manifested by learning to copywrite. Learn this one skill and you can recession proof any business you start.

Build multiple income streams; you do this by getting your first business profitable and then starting another one. Do not jump from one business opportunity to the next; it will only slow down your progress. Get your first opportunity profitable and requiring little effort from you. Use automated marketing systems that are easily replicated. Outsource your more tedious task or ones that you are not good at. Now simply repeat the process, this recession proof business tactic will bring you multiple income streams, so if one were to crash you are still generating income.

Keep these recession proof tactics in mind during your start up and you will be well on your way to building a recession proof business empire

Are you buying MLM leads? and is it an effective way to build a downline quickly?

Considering buying MLM leads to generate new signups and distributors to your opportunity.? Here are my thoughts on purchasing MLM leads and I will reveal some possible strategies to help you get leads naturally and that are more targeted.

In my opinion you should NEVER pay for MLM leads. The reasons are numerous and will make sense once you understand how your prospects behave and what they look for in an opportunity or MLM company.

First off…MLM leads that you pay for are not targeted, most of the leads you will receive from any company that sells them are simply tire kickers. They may have requested information on MLM or other opportunities but they are not serious or have committed to building an online business. They certainly do not know you, trust you or are interested in your particular opportunity. You must first get them to trust you and then start to build a relationship with them.

Working MLM leads is very time consuming and can be extremely difficult to get any kind of results or traction. First you have to call them “a negative experience” and you may call hundreds if not thousands before even one will be willing to listen to your pitch. Plan on spending countless hours sending out emails, that will probably just end up in their spam folder or spending hundreds on postage to send them some kind of information. See…not very targeted.

However, there is a better way………

Learn to incorporate attraction marketing into your business to attract highly targeted MLM leads.. With this form of advertising you are generating MLM leads naturally and organically. They are more receptive to your opportunity and company.
Build a relationship with them first, get them to trust you and see you as an expert in the industry. Now you have a lead that is open to receiving your opportunity and is more likely to join and stay. Use web 2.0 marketing to achieve these results.

Web 2.0 marketing involves a combination of different strategies that will get you branded as an expert in your industry. Soon prospects will trust you, want to follow you and are stomping at your front door to be included in what you have to offer. Remember, that people do not join opportunities they join people. Try to think of it in terms of quality over quantity.

Here are some web 2.0 lead generating strategies:
* Video marketing
* Article Marketing
* Blogging
* Twitter
* Facebook and MySpace
Learn to master these techniques and watch the flood gates open when it comes to generating natural, highly targeted MLM leads. Then watch your downline explode, your commission checks grow and your business expand.

Using List Builders & Safe list in your marketing campaigns

Using List builders and Safe list in your online marketing campaigns can be effective if used correctly. Let’s take a closer look at both of these marketing strategies, weigh the pros and cons, so you can make an informed decision on whether using list builders and safe list in your online marketing is worth the effort.

The nice thing about these sites is you don’t have to already have a huge list to mail too. You can use their list, it is already in place for you and the interface is easy to navigate. This makes sending out your ad easy and quick…just copy and paste then submit.

There are a couple of differences between list builders and safe list, let’s explore these now. List builders will charge you a fee to join and mail to their list, typically you can mail your offer to the list once every 3 to 5 days depending on which level you join. Safe list are free to join, and you will need to earn credits by viewing other offers in order to send your ad to their members.

Pros and cons:
----------------

List Builders:
------------------

As I mentioned earlier List builder sites will charge you a yearly fee in order to mail your ad to their list, earning credits will not be necessary in order to send out your ad. The cost is usually $199.00 to $399.00 a year; it just depends on which site you decide to join. Once you join you will be able to send out your opportunity to the list once every 3 to 5 days. The members of List builder sites are for the most part, targeted and receptive to your offer.

These members are also business owners and online marketers themselves, so they are open to look at other offers. You will have to provide an email when you signup, but you can use your contact email if you want, I found that the emails I get from the list builders I joined are not too bad and some actually contain good information. In summation, it does cost to join list builder sites, but the market is more targeted and receptive. If you have a well written solo ad and a landing page that converts, then you should consider using List Builders as part of your online marketing efforts.

Safe List:
-----------

Safe list are free to join, all you need is 2 email addresses. One is your contact email address and the other is for all the offers you will receive, “do not use your contact email address to receive offers you will be flooded with ads”. In order to send out your ads, you will need to earn credits, and then these credits can be used to send out your offer to other members. You earn credits by viewing other member’s offers via a clickable link. Once you click on the link and view the offer, the system recognizes that you have fulfilled your obligation and assigns the credit to your account automatically.

Safe List members are less receptive to your offer, then List builder members. Most if not all safe list members are also trying to get their offer in front of as many people as possible, you can also expect your ad to end up in a large percentage of spam folders. The key to using safe list effectively is massive action. You need to join at least 50 sites and track your activity. Send out your ad to the same site on the same day each week, and don’t forget to keep those credits built up, no credits no mailings. In summation: Safe list are free to join, but are more labor intensive and require massive action if you want to have any success.

How to make money online – an introduction for beginners

Can you really make money online?, and if so where should you begin If this is your first exposure on where to begin on starting a online business, or perhaps you have tried other programs, but no success, the this article may help.

There are lots people who claim it is possible to make millions on the internet overnight, and they are more than willing to show you their pay pal or click bank account checks as proof of their incredible success.

Release The Common Myths - They will have you believe that making money online is easy and effortless. This is not TRUE It is not as simple as signing up for a website or building a PPC campaign, then sitting back and relaxing waiting for the big checks to pile up. Tremendous effort of your time will be needed if one is to make money online. Just the learning curve is big.

Must Preparation For A Beginner - Learning a new trade requires lots of patience and a set of new skills to succeed. Especially when it comes to making money online, the marketers who make millions have done their homework and put in the hours. You must be willing to “pay your dues”, there is no other path to success. The more money you want to earn, the more prepared you will need to be, you can have anything you desire if you help enough other people get what they desire. Expect things to be a bit complicated and confusing at first, learning a new trade and all the buzzwords involved can be confusing.

Stay The Course- After deciding on which marketing plan you will use to build your online business, stick with it and stay focused. After signing up for the different programs, you will be bombarded with all kinds of different offers that promise to make your online business grow, don’t bother with them yet. Master the chosen trade first, then you will be more experienced and educated before choosing another plan. Don’t ever give up, do your homework, choose the right marketing plan for you and laser beam all your efforts on this.

Time And Effort - Making money online can be quite a complicated affair. Just the learning curve on a new trade alone can sometimes be overwhelming The more time and effort you put into your online business, the greater the rewards will be. The real long term money only comes to those who are able to patiently apply themselves to their work, steady and consistent work is the key to online success.

Investment required- I don’t care what any guru may tell you, a moderate to small investment will be required to start your online business. Some marketing plans like Ppc, can add up rather quickly.. Set your budget before you start your online business, and research any extras that will be needed after you select your core marketing program. Your own labor hours will help keep your expenses in line, after you start generating profits you can look at outsourcing “having other people do your tedious tasks”.

In summation:
* Don’t ever give up
* Set a marketing budget
* Plan on having peaks and valleys in your business
* Release common myths
* System works people fail….stick with your selected company

Hope this helps,
